Lakes Near Louisville ("we", "us") is an informational website. You can read every page without an account, and we don't sell personal information.

Information we collect

Server and security logs. Our hosting and content-delivery provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of request to deliver and protect the site.
Analytics. We may use privacy-focused, aggregated analytics to count visits and popular pages. We don't use them to identify you.
Email. If you email us, we receive your address and message and use them only to reply or to set up a listing you asked for.

Live water data

The live water readings on our pages are fetched by our server from federal agencies (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, USGS and the National Weather Service). Your browser asks our server for them; it doesn't send your information to those agencies.

Partner links and cookies

Some links go to partner companies (for example, lodging, insurance, towing memberships, loans or boat marketplaces). When you click one, that company or its affiliate network may set cookies or record the referral so they can credit us. Their privacy policies then apply. We don't receive what you enter on their sites.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Depending on where you live (for example, California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to ask for access to, or deletion of, personal information we hold. Email us to make a request.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13.
